Israel continues attacks against south Lebanon

The Lebanese resistance on Sunday attacked the Israeli occupation position and their agents in al-Muheisbat in the central sector of the occupied part of south Lebanon.

Lebanese resistance sources said the attack resulted in wounding one member of the position, whose fortifications were destroyed. Further reports from south Lebanon said the Israeli forces on Sunday evening bombarded the hills and mountains of al-Tuffah district in south Lebanon.

Lebanese security sources said the Israeli artillery stationed at al-Zaffata bombarded the woods of Sujoud, al-Rayhan and Litani river and al-Rafe mountain. The Israeli artillery bombardment was accompanied by sub-machine gun fire against the roads linking the al-Tuffah district with the Israeli-occupied strip.

In retaliation, the Lebanese resistance attacked two Israeli occupation and Israeli-allied South Lebanon Army militia positions in Sujoud and Beer Klab inside the Israeli occupied border strip in south Lebanon.
