Belgian national heads MINURSO

Belgian brigadier Claude Buze was appointed as head of the UN mission in the Sahara (MINURSO) by UN Secretary General Kofi Annan, reports Saturday Belga news agency quoting military sources. A military spokesman in Brussels said general Buze will be in charge as of November 1.
