Trilateral meeting for Clinton, Barak and Arafat in Oslo on Tuesday
Palestine-Israel-USA, Politics, 10/30/1999
A trilateral summit is to be convened on Tuesday in Oslo between US President Bill Clinton, Palestinian President Yasser Arafat and Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak on the margin of celebrating establishing the Norwegian capital on the anniversary of former Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin's death.
The main subject expected to be raised in this summit will be a review of the peace process, including applying the signed agreements, getting into serious negotiations paving the way for a final status agreement halting the destructive settlement policy for the peace process and if the USA is the main partner for the peace process then the Palestinians are required to take clear stances before the US.
