Chinese President Jiang Zemin is concluding today his visit to Morocco, which lasted four days and is starting tomorrow a visit to Saudi Arabia.

President Zemin's visit will be his first official visit to Saudi Arabia at the invitation of King Fahd Bin Abdul Aziz of Saudi Arabia, which is the first visit since the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Saudi Arabia in 1970.

Sources in the Chinese embassy in Saudi Arabia said this visit will last for four days, during which the Chinese president will hold talks with the Saudi monarch, adding that the joint Chinese - Saudi committee under the chairmanship of the Saudi minister of finance and national economy and the Chinese minister of commercial cooperation will convene its second meeting in Riyadh during the Chinese president's visit.
