Kuwaiti FM denies contacts with Israel

Kuwait's first deputy premier and foreign minister, Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmad, has denied s report by the Israeli daily Yediot Ahronot on the existence of contacts between Kuwait and Israel.
Sheikh Sabah told the Kuwaiti daily al-Rai al-Am issued on Friday that no such contacts were made.
On Thursday an official source at the Kuwaiti Foreign Ministry stressed that in this respect Kuwait is committed to all decisions taken by the Arab League concerning relations between the Arab states and Israel.
The source denied what had been rumored by certain news agencies on contacts between Kuwait and Israel.
