Moroccan, Jordanian Senates to set up friendship group

The Moroccan and Jordanian Senates have agreed to set up a group of friendship and cooperation to consolidate ties between the two legislative institutions.
A joint statement released at the end of the visit speaker of the Jordanian Senate, Zeid Rifai, paid to Morocco, underline the need to establish regular dialogue in order to give an impulse to Moroccan-Jordanian political, economic, social and cultural cooperation.
The two senates stressed that they share the same views on all issues brought up during the talks and convened to exchange visits and to carry on dialogue at all scales.
They equally decided to coordinate stands at Arab, Islamic and international parliamentary organizations to uphold the principles of justice and peace and increase efforts to foster economic, commercial and investment relations between Morocco and Jordan.
During his visit to Morocco, the Jordanian Senate's speaker conveyed to King Mohammed VI a message from King Abdullah of Jordan.
