Turkey seeks to improve its relations with the Gulf stated

Turkish Minister of State Mehmet Kececiler said he confirmed during his visit to Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates, his country's wish to improve its bilateral relations with these friendly countries in all fields.

This came in a statement made by the Turkish minister following his arrival in Ankara after the end the first part of his tour to the Gulf Cooperation Council states as a especial representative of Turkish President Suleiman Demirel.

He added that during this tour it was agreed to hold the economic committee's meetings among Turkey, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates at the beginning of next year.
