Mediterranean agronomists probe irrigation techniques in Rabat

Mediterranean agronomists and researchers have gathered in Rabat since Wednesday to exchange views and findings in the fields of irrigation and drainage.
The seminar is meant to enhance regional cooperation and set up lasting exploitation of irrigated areas in the region where water resources are growing scarce.
For two days, experts from different Mediterranean countries probe issues and techniques to be used for optimal management of the next century's key commodity.
