Supreme Council of the Islamic Revolution in Iraq rejects New York opposition meeting

The leader of the Supreme Council of the Islamic Revolution in Iraq, Mohamed Baqqer El-Hakiem, refused to participate in the scheduled meeting for the Iraqi opposition in New York.
Iraqi opposition sources in Cairo quoted as El-Hakiem as saying this meeting wasn't properly prepared for so it can achieve its required aims.
He added that such meetings should be made in the homeland, thus the council suggested that the meeting should be in the area of the Iraqi Kurdstan.
