King Abdullah confers with WB official
Jordan-World Bank, Economics, 10/28/1999
King Abdullah II of Jordan met on Wednesday in Amman with the director general of the World Bank, Peter Woicke, who is also the deputy executive president for the International Finance Corporation.
The Jordanian king stressed Jordan's continued efforts in the economic reform process so as to prepare the atmosphere and find out the proper conditions for the private sector to invest in various economic fields.
Woicke, on the other hand stressed that the International Finance Corporation will continue to take part in the Jordanian private sector companies either through financing or direct participation.
