Kuwait bans poultry imports from Pakistan

Kuwait has decided to ban the import of poultry and eggs from Pakistan. A decision was taken by the general administration for the Kuwaiti agriculture and fishery affairs, to ban the import of all poultry and eggs from Pakistan.
The Kuwaiti daily al-Khabar, which published the said news on Wednesday said this decision comes in the course of measures taken by the general commission for agricultural affairs and fishery to avoid infectious diseases, especially following the appearance of several Salmonella cases in poultry imports from Pakistan.
