Kidnapped Americans released in Yemen

Three US Citizens who were kidnapped in Yemen were released today, Nando Times reported.
Yemeni forces on Wednesday cordoned the place where kidnappers of three US citizens were held by tribesmen who have differences with the Yemeni government.
A Yemeni security source told reporters on Wednesday in Sanaa that Yemeni security forces cordoned the place where the Americans who were kidnapped on Tuesday are being held and where Bani Jaber tribe is present in the province of Maareb to the east of the country in order to make pressures of the kidnappers from the said tribe.
The sources added that negotiations between the two sides to release the US hostages have started. No other details were given.
Earlier in the day, a Yemeni official source said that the Yemeni authorities believe that the men of the said tribe kidnapped the three Americans with the objective of releasing prisoners from their tribe.
Meanwhile, the US State Department confirmed that three Americans were kidnapped in Yemen on Tuesday and that Washington is working with the Yemeni government to ensure their release.
US State Department spokesman James Rubin said, "We can confirm that three Americans were kidnapped in the Dhamar area of Yemen on Tuesday, October 26th. This is something we are working closely with the Yemeni Government on, in hopes of securing their release as quickly as possible."
