The speaker of the Jordanian Parliament, Abdul Hadi al-Majali, has called on Israel to realize that peace is not attainable under a continued policy of settlement and without the restoration of all occupied Arab territories and giving back the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people.
During his meeting in Amman on Wednesday with Turkish and Dutch parliamentary delegations, currently visiting Jordan, al-Majali underlined the importance of achieving a just and comprehensive peace in the region on the ground of Israel's withdrawal from all occupied Arab territories.
He indicated Jordan's desire to strengthen cooperation with "brothers and friends in order to attract investments and expand economic and tourism cooperation."
