Iraq buys Russian ambulances

The Iraqi paper al-Alaam said on Wednesday that Iraq will receive shortly 200 Russian ambulances that were purchased on the context of the oil-for-food program.
The weekly quoted the director of the emergency department at the Health Ministry, Fawzi al-Janabi, as saying that these cars are of high and advanced technical qualifications. He added that they are fully equipped with advanced medical equipment and will arrive very soon in Iraq to improve the medical sector.
Al-Janabi did not mention the cost of the contract Baghdad had signed with the Russian company.
