Bouteflika intends to pardon more extremists

The Algerian New Agency reported yesterday that President Abdelaziz Bouteflika will issue soon a pardon for more prisoners, among whom are religious extremists, in his efforts to end the violence in the country.

The agency added that Bouteflika ordered the concerned authorities to raise a report to him that includes complete statistics about all the prisoners who are sentenced for criminal acts and also those who are condemned for violations within the limits of the civil rapport law whom the presidential pardon will include.
