Unemployed school graduates demonstrate in Rabat
Morocco, Politics, 10/27/1999

More than 4,000 school graduates looking for jobs marched Tuesday in the streets of Rabat chanting slogans and calling the government to act and answer their pleas for jobs.

The association of graduates on the dole held a press meeting on Friday to say the march celebrates the anniversary of its creation in 1991 and that it would carry on the struggle for recognition and the right to work as provided for in the Constitution and international conventions.

The march, they said, is a test to the government which committed itself to deal with social problems including unemployment of school graduates.
