Ruler of Kuwait opens the ninth Kuwaiti Nations Council

Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Jaber al-Ahmad al-Sabah, on Tuesday opened the second session of the ninth legislative course of the Kuwaiti Nations Council. In a speech delivered on behalf of the emir by Crown Prince and Prime Minister Sheikh Saad al-Abdullah, stress was laid on the need to strengthen collective work and adhere to democracy and Shoura. Afterward, members of the Kuwaiti Nations Council elected members of the nine permanent committees of the council.
