Armed group members surrender in Algeria

Some 65 members from the armed groups in Algeria have surrendered under the new reconciliation law to the sides concerned in the capital Algiers under the provisions of the civil concord law, said the Algerian daily al-Khabar.
The paper added that one surrendered to the specialized authorities in Ain Defla, while contacts are being made with 42 members of the armed groups who are in Kharnah forest with the aim of surrendering.
On Tuesday, the Algerian daily al-Aseel said the security forces dismantled on Monday two handmade bombs on the bridge between Zwalda and Algiers and revealed that two citizens were shot to death by armed men in Bouira province, to the south of the capital Algiers.
