World Bank chief holds talks in Amman
Jordan-World Bank, Economics, 10/27/1999
Jordan's deputy premier and planning minister, Rima Khalaf, on Tuesday in Amman discussed with World Bank official Peter Woicke, who is also the deputy executive president for the International Finance Corporation, the possibility of developing joint cooperation relations between Jordan and the establishment and means of diversifying aid in financial and technical areas.
The World Bank chief, currently visiting Jordan, stressed the establishment's readiness to strengthen areas of future cooperation with Jordan especially in the fields of chemical industries, melting, technology, tourism and services.
