Egyptian - Russian diplomatic talks

King Fahd Bin Abdul Aziz of Saudi Arabia on Monday in al-Riyadh met with the executive President in Pakistan Lt. Gen. Bruweiz Musharraf and members of the accompanying delegation, who arrived in al-Riyadh earlier in the day. Bilateral relations between the two countries and means of strengthening them were reviewed. The Israeli authorities on Monday permitted the secretary general of the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine Nayef Hawatemah to get into the territories under the Palestinian self-rule. In a statement, Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak said he agreed to the return of Hawatemah in response to a decision submitted by the chairman of the Palestinian Authority in this respect, in light of Hawatemah's announcement of backing the Oslo agreement and his readiness to join the final status negotiations with Israel. Iraq said that US jets killed two and injured another 7 in shelling operations. Iraq said through a military spokesman that nine formations of US jets implemented attacks from the Turkish airspace in 11 civilian areas in northern Iraq, adding that U.S jets flew above Mosul city and shelled a site for Iraqi air defense missiles and that the Iraqi artillery strongly retaliated. A statement released by the Iraqi communist Party on Monday in London said that the Iraqi regime on October 12 executed 19 Iraqi prisoners in Abu Gharib jail because of their political stances and their opposition to the regime. Go
