Algeria: Bouteflika did not meet with any of the Israeli officials

Algerian President Abdul Aziz Bouteflika ruled out during his meeting on Monday with the Syrian ambassador to Algeria Abdul Jabbar al-Dahak on the occasion of ending his term of office in Algiers, to have any sort of normalization of relations with Israel unless the Syrian occupied Golan heights is restored and from South Lebanon, unconditionally as well as giving back the Palestinian people their legitimate rights and establishing their own independent state with Jerusalem as a capital.
The Algerian President also stressed his care to develop " brotherly relations with Syria in all fields."
President Bouteflika asked al-Dahhak to convey his " great greetings and esteem appreciation to President al-Assad who has his 'prints' in the region as a whole."
He stressed that Israel has to resume peace negotiations with Syria from the point they broke off, because " without Syria peace is not attainable."
The Algerian President stressed his country's unwavering and principled stances and its commitment to achieving just and comprehensive peace provides for achieving just and comprehensive peace for restoring back the occupied Syrian Golan heights and withdrawal until June 4, 1967 border line, unconditional withdrawal from South Lebanon and giving the Palestinians their full legitimate rights and the establishment of their own state.
For his part, al-Dahhak said following his meeting with Bouteflika that talks during the meeting with the Algerian President dealt with brotherly relations between the two countries and means of strengthening them in all areas as well as issued debated on the Arab arena.
Meantime, the Algerian President on Monday denied news that talks were held or will be held between him and any representative for the Israeli government.
In a statement to the Orient ( al-Sharq) radio Bouteflika stressed that he said he told those who are concerned ( Israel) " If you want to talk about natural diplomatic relations, you have first to give the Palestinians their right to establish their own independent state and to withdraw from South Lebanon and the Golan."
Meantime, a source at the Algerian presidency on Monday denied news that the Algerian President Abdul Aziz Bouteflika had met with Israeli officials on the sideline of the recent Foro-Monitor forum which was held in the Spanish island of Mayurka.
Al-Sharq radio correspondent in Algeria quoted the source as saying that Bouteflika did not talk with any Israeli officials and did not talk to any Israeli mass media and that the whole matter is lies fabricated against him, SANA reported.
