Egypt, Politics, 10/26/1999
Egyptian Foreign Minister Amr Moussa denied yesterday what was raised about directing the Bright Star military maneuvers to contain Iraq, saying that there is no relation between the maneuvers and Iraq.
He added that Egyptian national security is decided by Egypt. This came in reply to reports about the maneuver as harming Egyptian national security.

He added that the military aspect between the two countries is based on means of dealing with the Israeli nuclear armament topic and the peace process.
