Speaker of Jordanian senate meets Moroccan representatives

The visiting speaker of the Jordanian senate, Zayd Arrifai, met in Rabat on Monday with heads of political groups at the chamber of advisors (upper chamber of the parliament). The Jordanian delegation expressed, during the meeting, their country's full backing for Morocco's territorial integrity.
Talks covered the role of legislative bodies in consolidating bilateral relations, and how to increase economic cooperation. The representatives also renewed support for Arab and Islamic causes, mainly the Palestinian people's right to statehood, the liberation of occupied Arab territories and the lifting of the embargo enforced against Iraq.
