Group of Arab journalists attend training session on human rights in Rabat

A group of Arab journalists are attending this October 24-30 a training session on human rights held by the Arab human rights institute, the Arab journalists union, the Moroccan communication ministry and the Moroccan journalists union.

The session features lectures on the role of the media in disseminating human rights principles, historical and philosophical dimensions of human rights, concepts and criteria of the international human rights system, and the role of ngos in the protection of human rights.

Participants will work within workshops to analyze some cases of media coverage of human rights issues and write stories on women, children, freedom of opinion and expression and elections.
