Prince Nayef: al-Sayegh to be treated like any other

Saudi Minister of the Interior Prince Nayef Bin Abdul Aziz stated that Hani al-Sayegh, a Saudi citizen suspected of being involved in the Khobar Towers bombing, who was handed over by the USA to the Saudi authorities, is considered like the other detainee, "and we should not differentiate among them in any case."
Washington handed over al-Sayegh to Riyadh on October 18 as the Saudi authorities accused al-Sayegh of participating in preparing for the Khobar bombing, due to which 19 US soldiers were killed on June 25, 1996.
