Barak in Turkey today

The Kuwaiti daily al-Qabas issued on Sunday quoted Turkish diplomatic and press sources as saying that Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak will, during his visit to Turkey today brief Turkish President Suleiman Demirel on the details of recent developments on the Syrian-Israeli track, which is of interest to Turkey.
The sources expected Turkey to host a Middle East summit which will bring together Barak, Arafat, Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak, Jordan's King Abdullah and US President Bill Clinton, on the sideline of the works of the European security and cooperation organization summit to be held in Istanbul on November 18 and 19.
The sources indicated that the Middle East peace process and cooperation between these countries will be on top of topics to be debated during the summit.
