Continued Israeli attacks against South Lebanon

The Israeli occupation forces on Friday deported a Lebanese soldier to the outside the Israeli held border zone in South Lebanon after he was suspended for 13 days in al-Khayyam prison. Lebanese military sources said that the Israeli forces deported sergeant Amin Youssef Abi Dihn from the town of Hasbaya through the Zimraya passage in the Western Bekaa.

Lebanese army units received the Lebanese sergeant at Narj al-Zuhour.

On Thursday night the Israeli bombardment of Kafer Tabvin town by the internationally banned nail shells resulted in damaging several houses and four cars.

Lebanese security sources said Israel's new violations of the " April Understanding " provisions coincided with mopping up operations carried out by the Israeli forces against the town, using heavy machine gun shots.

During all late Thursday nigh and Friday morning, the Israeli reconnaissance flew over South Lebanese areas, the sources added.

Further news reports from South Lebanon said the Lebanese national resistance on Friday attacked the Israeli Beer Klaab position in the occupied eastern sector.

In a statement, the Lebanese resistance said that one of its groups attacked Beer Klaab position, using machine guns and rockets. The statement added that after 20 minutes, another Lebanese resistance group attacked the said position.

Lebanese security sources said pro-Israeli Lahd militia was injured in the attack.
