Six persons killed in a car explosion in Yemen

The Yemeni police announced on Thursday that six Yemenis were killed and another 10 wounded in a car explosion in a car which was transporting explosives in southern Yemen.

A policeman who refused to be identified said that, "A jeep loaded with explosives went off while it had been chased by two police cars to stop it in al-Jaboub village, southern Yemen."

The policeman added that the passengers of the jeep were killed.
