Egyptian official: Arab situation full of risks, no expected surprises in peace process

Mostafa El-Feki, the assistant foreign minister and Egypt's delegate to the Arab League, said yesterday in a symposium organized by the Egyptian committee for solidarity regarding political developments in the Arab states that the general Arab situation is full of risks
He added that the Arab region was never through its long history a center for international attraction as it is now and that it has become difficult in the shadow of a unipolar world to talk about the freedom the Arab political decision.
He said that Arab relations are controlled now by two pivots or knots: the Arab - Israeli conflict and the Iraqi invasion of Kuwait and what followed it politically and militarily.
