Al-Hoss meets with Arab businesswomen's council

Lebanese Prime Minister Selim Al-Hoss emphasized the importance of women's role in Arab societies on all levels, especially on the economic level.

Al-Hoss depicted the formation of the Arab Businesswomen's Council as a civilizational phenomenon and evidence that Arab women play their role in the Arab society fully and contribute to developing the Arab economy.

This came during al-Hoss' reception yesterday for the businesswomen, whose establishment was announced during the economic meeting for the Arab businesswomen which was held on October 15 at ESCWA headquarters in Beirut.

The Arab Businesswomen's Council will take Cairo as its headquarter, and it includes businesswomen from 15 Arab states, among which is Egypt.
