Israel continues attacks against south Lebanon

The Israeli occupation forces on Wednesday continued their attacks against areas adjacent to the occupied part of south Lebanon and its western Bekaa.

Lebanese security sources said the Israeli artillery bombarded on Wednesday the al-Wastani mountain and the heights situated at the western plains of al-Sheikh mountain to the north of the occupied town of Shabaa, with some 15 shells of 155 mm

The Israeli bombardment also targeted Burket al-Jabbour, Abi Rashed woods and al-Rahayat heights, where 13 shells were dropped.

The Israeli occupation forces also bombarded on Wednesday morning, using rockets and machine guns the outskirts of Eita al-Jabal and Hadatha town, from its positions in Beit Yahoun in the occupied part of south Lebanon.

Lebanese security sources said that the Israeli bombardment resulted in damage to the house of Lebanese citizen Hussein Youssef Saad in Eita al-Jabal town.

Meanwhile, the Israeli gunboats on Wednesday at dawn opened fires against the Lebanese fishing boats near al-Mansouri coast to the city of Tyre.

Meanwhile, Israeli warplanes carried out on Wednesday morning mock and provocative raids over the central sector of south Lebanon at low altitudes, dropping thermal balloons.

The Israeli bombardment coincided with sorties by Israeli reconnaissance planes.
