Sudanese opposition leaders renew adherence to Egyptian - Libyan initiative

Egyptian Foreign Minister Amr Moussa stated that the joint Egyptian- Libyan initiative to reach a comprehensive political solution in Sudan become a reality not only out of its comprehensiveness and objectivity but also because its sponsors have the right to take care of the Sudanese case in light of the historical ties that link them with Sudan.
In a speech he delivered on behalf of ambassador Reda Baibars, manager of the African affairs in the minister's bureau yesterday evening in the opening session of the urgent meeting of the leadership of the Sudanese opposition in Cairo, Moussa said, "Egypt and Libya in their endeavor to reach a comprehensive political solution, intend also to go on in the coordination with IGAD countries, which share them Sudan's neighborhood and to follow up on their steps regarding this matter to lead to positive results for Sudan's good and to achieve the rapport in it."
In their speeches during the opening session of the urgent meeting they asked the leaders of the Sudanese opposition factions to give a strong push to the Egyptian- Libyan initiative.
