Spanish Gaz Natural SDG to invest $400 million in Morocco

The Spanish gas distribution group "Gaz Natural SDG" said it was ready to invest $400 million in a natural gas distribution network in Morocco. The firm, which shared in the installation of the Maghreb-Europe gas-pipeline connecting Algeria to the southern Iberic peninsula via Morocco, targets the creation of 2,000 direct jobs and 10,000 indirect ones and the building up of three major gas channel supplies in industrial centers in major cities.
"Gaz Natural SDG" is competing for gas distribution in the kingdom with other international firms.
