Israel eager for Turkey's joining the EU

Turkish sources have asserted that Israel is exerting relentless efforts with the European states to accelerate the process of Turkey's joining the European Union. The Turkish Anatolia news agency quoted these sources as saying that Israeli Foreign Minister David Levy had dedicated the greatest part of his contacts with his European counterparts in Luxembourg last week to that purpose.
