Official criticizes lack of representation of Christians in leadership ruling Sudanese party

Bishop Gabriel Roric, the state minister of the Sudanese Foreign Ministry severely criticized the lack of representation of the church in the new leadership of the ruling National Conference Party that represents.
In statements to the Sudanese El-Baian newspaper yesterday, he said, "The church finds itself harmed in all the political sides" since the coming of "Rescue," referring in this context to the demolition of the church and confescation of its lands.
He added, "The national conference party is a collective party that includes the Moslem and Christians, thus the church should be represented in the leadership body."
