Yemeni extremist groups commit to avenging the execution of al-Mihdar
Yemen, Politics, 10/19/1999
The extremist groups in Yemen committed yesterday to avenging the execution of extremist leader Zien El-Abdeen Bin al-Mihdar, who is known as "Abu Hassan."
The extremist Aden - Abyan Islamic Army group accused the Yemeni Interior Ministry of stirring up disorder.
On the other hand, the extremist Abu Hamza al-Masri said that al-Mihdar's life "will not pass just like this, and we ask God to help us for the revenge."
Moreover, al-Masri expressed his astonishment at the quick implementation of executing al-Mihdar, one day after the high court support the judgement of his execution after condemning him for kidnapping and killing four western tourists.
Al-Masri committed to continuing the war between the extremist groups and the Yemeni authorities.
The execution judgement was implemented following its approval by President Ali Abdullah Saleh.
