Acting Jordanian Prime Minister Marwan al-Hammoud on Monday reviewed with former South African President Nelson Mandela Jordanian-African relations, Arab - African relations and the Middle East peace process.

The two sides underlined the importance of backing for the Middle East peace process from various world countries and the sides concerned to reach a just and comprehensive peace that provides prosperity for the peoples of the region.

During the meeting, al-Hamoud welcomed Mandela and members of the accompanying delegation in his visit to Jordan, which falls in the course of the efforts made to foster Jordanian-African relations and to contribute to the process of giving a push forward to the Middle East peace process.
