Algeria to boost parliamentary relations with France, EU

The speaker of the Algerian Ummah council Basheer Bu Maza discussed on Sunday in Algiers with the member at the French Senate and the chairman of the French-Algerian friendship society means of developing relations between the Algerian Ummah council and the French Senate.

The two sides also discussed the program of the next visit to be held by the French Senate delegation to Algeria at the invitation of his Algerian counterpart.

Meantime, the speaker of the Algerian national people's council ( parliament) Abdul Qader Bin Saleh on Sunday in Algiers met with the chairman of the constitutional committee for the European parliament, currently visiting Algeria.

During the meeting, the European official stressed the need of an effective European stand in the current progress taking place in Algeria.
