Saudi authories start investigations into al-Sayegh

The Saudi authories started their investigation of Hani al-Sayegh, one of the suspects involved in exploding the Khobar Towers housing complex in Saudi Arabia. He was handed over by the USA to Saudi Arabia last week.

Saudi sources said that al-Sayegh's family was informed that this investigation precedes his trial and that the suspect will be allowed to have a lawyer to defend him.

These sources added that al-Sayegh is not the only detainee in his family in the Khobar case, as there has been more then one arrest in more than two years, including the arrest of Mohammed al-Sayegh, the brother of Hani al-Sayegh.
