Bahrain to host meeting of gulf insurance firms

Bahrain will host next December the first meeting of insurance companies in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states.
Bahrain's Gulf News Agency (GNA) said the meeting, organized by the GCC union of chambers of trade and industry and the Bahrain insurance society, will tackle problems facing GCC insurance companies and challenges posed by economic globalization.
Amending legislative frameworks for insurance companies in the GCC states will also be on the agenda of the meeting.
