Malki unveils citrus fruit strategy

Agriculture minister Habib El Malki unveiled Saturday in Agadir the three major axes of his department strategy in production and exportation of citrus fruit saying competition, productivity and quality requirements make it a must to act at the three levels of consolidation of traditional markets, prospection of new ones and upgrading of profitability and internal market.
Private operators will be full-fledged members of the experts and researchers committee working up a platform for genuine partnership with Europe, he said.
