Bordeaux economic forum on Morocco ends

The economic forum "The Third Millennium Morocco: an economic and industrial partner" organized Oct 12-15 in Bordeaux by the city's chamber of trade and industry was attended Thursday by Prince Moulay Rachid, brother to King Mohammed VI.
Addressing the forum held as part of activities of "Moroccan Times in France," economic adviser to the king Andre Azoulay said 800 French enterprises operate in Morocco, including, 20 major ones. Azoulay invited local investors to be more aggressive and expand to new realms such as telecommunications and new information technologies.
Azoulay also stressed security and stability in the kingdom, along with liberty and democracy, as key factors in fostering further partnership with Morocco which boast a 3.5 average growth in the last ten years.
Head of foreign investment at the finance department Hassan Bernoussi underscored perks and advantages in the new investment charter and called Bordeaux entrepreneurs to participate in Moroccan debt conversion into investment.
