Signing a friendship agreement between Israel and Greece

Israeli Premier Ehud Barak signed yesterday with Greek Defense Minister Apostolos-Athanasios Tsokhatzopoulos a rapport and a friendship agreement between the two countries. The Israeli Defense Ministry referred in the two sides' agreement to the importance of maintaining regional stability and security. Details of the agreement, which is considered a confirmation of a joint security charter between the two countries signed in 1994, were not revealed.
