Saudi - Italian discussion regarding military cooperation

Italian Defense Minister Carlo Scognamiglio is to arrive today in Riyadh for a two-day visit to Saudi Arabia to fulfill the invitation of Saudi Defense Minister Prince Sultan Bin Abdul Aziz. Official Saudi sources in Riyadh said Scognamiglio will hold two rounds of talks with Prince Sultan regarding enhancing military cooperation between the two countries and issues of joint concern, adding that Scognamiglio will discuss with the Saudi officials the situation in the area, the peace process in the Middle East and the international situation.
