Israel releases 151 Palestinian prisoners without problems

Israel said that 151 Palestinian prisoners were released yesterday, none of whom participated in any attacks against Israelis, and that most of them were serving life prison sentences.

The release took place amid joy and happiness that prevailed in the West Bank and Gaza Strip, and the prisoners came back to their families. Most of them had assassinated Palestinians who were suspected of cooperating with the Israeli authorities.

Nearly 12 prisoners from the extremist Islamic factions were released, but Israel confirmed that none of them participated in Israeli assassination operations.
