Morocco, Politics, 10/15/1999
Morocco announced the creation of a ministerial commission to boost a national plan on women's integration in the country's development process.
The announcement was made by Social Protection, Family and Childhood Secretary of State Mohammed Said Saadi, during the weekly question time at the House of Representatives, lower house of parliament.
Women represent 51 percent of Morocco's 28-million strong population.
The women's integration plan will be submitted to the government for approval, after its scrutiny by the ministerial commission, Saadi said.
