Ambassador of Azerbaijan in Cairo hails the relations with Egypt

Israfil Bicalov, the ambassador of Azerbaijan in Cairo, hailed the relations between his country and Egypt, saying they are very distinguished in the historical and political arena.
In interview with ArabicNews.com, he said Azerbaijan always takes these relations into consideration among its top priorities, depending on its relations with Egypt as a state of an importance in the regional and international arena and as an intimate state to Azerbaijan, to which it is linked with strong political relations.
He said Azerbaijan appreciates Egypt's historical stance, headed by President Hosni Mubarak, before its independence directly from the former Soviet Union in 1991 and following the independence and its accompanying problems.
