Clash over northern Iraq zone, US says

The US European Command said today that Iraqi forces east of Mosul launched surface-to-air missiles against Operation Northern watch aircraft patrolling the northern Iraq "no-fly zone." The aircraft attacked "targets in the vicinity of Mosul" in response, it added.
