Lebanese resistance retaliates for Israeli attack

The Lebanese resistance on Wednesday attacked a joint Israeli-South Lebanon Army militia position in the occupied part of south Lebanon. In a statement, the Lebanese resistance said direct hits were achieved.
Later in the day, Lebanese resistance forces carried out a series of operations against the Israeli forces and agents in the occupied border area of south Lebanon.
A statement issued by the Lebanese resistance front said that the resistance men attacked a newly-established radar position in al-Dabshe. The resistance also attacked the Israeli site in Dabshe's surroundings using rockets and inflicted losses on them. Two Israeli patrols were attacked by the resistance men and their members were wounded.
Meanwhile, the Israeli artillery bombarded several areas adjacent to the occupied part of South Lebanon. The bombardment resulted in damaging three houses in Majdal Zoune town.
Lebanese security sources said the Israeli position in Beaufort carried out mopping-up operations in the western Bekaa. The bombardment targeted the outskirts of Burket al-Jabbour, Maidoun woods, and Abi Rashed heights.
Some 30 shells were dropped on the area. The Israeli bombardment coincided with machine guns fire against the Litani river course and the woods surrounding the al-Qatrani and Sujoud areas.
Meanwhile, the Israeli warplanes continued their intensive sorties in the airspace of south Lebanon and the western Bekaa, especially the areas of al-Nabatieyah and the al-Tuffah district. The Israeli warplanes dropped thermal balloons.
Moreover, officers in UNIFIL said the SLA militia prevented all Lebanese service officials from getting into or out of the occupied Hasbaya district.
