Egyptian Minister of Economy and Foreign Trade Yousef Butros Ghali met yesterday with Dieter Posch, the minister of economy in Hessen province in Germany, who is visit in Egypt now at the head of a large delegation from economists, bankers, businessmen, members of commercial and industrial chambers in Hessen, and representatives of the medium-sized and small projects.

The German minister and his accompanying delegation congratulated Ghali on his assuming the post of the foreign trade and economy minister and expressed great interest in investment in Egypt under the new economic atmosphere and establishing a number of joint projects in Egypt.

Posch said Hessen province is the strongest and largest German state in finance and banking, expressing the interest in developing economic cooperation with Egypt, in light of the good relations between Egypt and Germany.

He also asserted the existence of a large number of Egyptians who are successful in Germany in general and in Hessen province in partiocular.
